...DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST THIS
EVENING...

* LOCATION...IN VALLEYS FROM FAIRBANKS TO NORTH POLE.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES IN DENSE ICE
  FOG.

* TIMING...AREAS OF DENSE ICE FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON. ICE FOG HAS IMPROVED AT EIELSON WHERE TEMPERATURES
  HAVE WARMED SLIGHTLY DUE TO CLOUD COVER BUT WILL DETERIORATE
  THROUGH LATE MORNING AS CLOUDS DECREASE.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES ARE FREQUENTLY REDUCED TO
NEAR ZERO. REDUCE VEHICLE SPEED WHEN DRIVING AND USE LOW BEAM
HEADLIGHTS.
