...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS
MORNING...

* LOCATIONS...Portions of Route 48, Route 45, Route 41, Route
  17A and Route 52. This includes, but is not limited to
  communities in and near Jamestown, Huger, Cordesville,
  Shulerville, Bonneau and Saint Stephen.

* VISIBILITIES...One quarter mile or less at times.

* TIMING...The worst visibilities will occur through 8 or 9 am
  Saturday. The smoke should dissipate by 10 am Saturday leading
  to improved visibilities.

* IMPACTS...Thick smoke will make travel difficult and could
  cause respiratory difficulty.

* IMPACTS...The United States Forest Service might have to close
  parts of Highway 48, a secondary road near the burn site,
  parts of Highway 45 and Highway 41 later tonight due to dense
  smoke from their prescribed fire activities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Everyone is encouraged to stay indoors as the air quality will be
hazardous. Avoid strenuous activities if you must work outdoors.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibilities. Use
low beam headlights whenever dense smoke is encountered.
