...Windy with Blowing Dust Across Southwestern New Mexico and Far
West Texas This Afternoon into Tonight...

.An upper level disturbance and developing surface low will
affect the region today causing windy conditions with blowing
dust. Winds will gust 45 to 50 mph causing blowing dust with
areas of visibility below one mile at times. Hazardous driving
conditions are expected including along Interstate 10 near
Lordsburg and Deming and also between El Paso and Las Cruces.

* WINDS...West to southwest winds around 30 mph with gusts 45 to
  50 mph.

* VISIBILITY...Blowing dust will reduce the visibility to one mile
  or less in some areas.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility
  and strong winds. Winds may also blow down small tree branches
  and loose objects.

A Blowing Dust Advisory means that blowing dust will restrict
visibilities. Travelers are urged to use caution.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of at least 30 mph with higher
gusts are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

* WINDS...West to southwest winds around 30 mph with gusts 45 to
  50 mph.
