...Very strong winds possible Monday night and Tuesday morning...

.Winds will quickly increase in the wake of weak frontal passage
on Monday. The winds will be strongest in the vicinity of the i-5
corridor. Very strong winds are also possible in the Ventura and
Santa Barbara county...the Santa Barbara county south coast as
well as the Santa Clarita Valley. There will also be strong winds
about 10 mph weaker than the watch area in the Ventura valleys...
the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Monica mountains.

MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
High Wind Watch, which is in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning.

* Winds and Timing...North winds with the potential of 60 mph
  gusts will develop early Monday evening and persist into Tuesday
  morning. The winds will be strongest through the I-5 corridor.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong could damage property.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Watch means that conditions are favorable for
potentially damaging winds of 58 mph or greater. Be prepared to
secure all loose outdoor furniture in advance of the onset of
strong winds. Monitor the latest forecasts on NOAA Weather Radio
