FRIDAY...WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO DROP INTO THE 20S LATE
FRIDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. THESE COLD TEMPERATURES

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A FREEZE
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM FRIDAY TO 10 AM CDT
SATURDAY. THE FREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...ALL OF SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE
  MISSOURI OZARKS FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURE...TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FREEZING
  FRIDAY EVENING. READINGS WILL BOTTOM OUT IN THE LOW TO MID 20S
  AROUND SUNRISE SATURDAY AND WILL RISE ABOVE FREEZING BY LATE
  MORNING.

* IMPACTS...THIS WILL END THE GROWING SEASON OVER SOUTHWESTERN
  MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. ANY COLD SENSITIVE
  VEGETATION LEFT OUTSIDE WILL DIE.

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR
HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
