West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose was
centered near 39N 69W, or about 125 nm SE of Nantucket at 5 AM
EDT this morning with maximum winds around 30 kt just to the W
and SW of the center. Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose will drift SE
today into Sun, and then dissipate Sun night or early Mon. Also,
S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria will impact the area today
through Wed night. Hurricane Maria will approach from the S Sun
and Sun night, and is expected to be near 30.3N 73.0W at 2 AM EDT
Mon, 32.0N 73.0W at 2 AM Tue, 34.0N 73.0W at 2 AM Wed, and to
near 36.0N 71.5W at 2 AM Thu. Refer to the latest National
Hurricane Center advisory for Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a weak
high pres ridge will persist over the S and central waters today,
and then weaken and dissipate tonight.
