LAS VEGAS HAS RECORDED 4 THUNDERSTORM DAYS IN MAY OF THIS YEAR WHICH
TIES THE RECORD FOR THE MOST EVER RECORDED. 4 THUNDERSTORM DAYS WERE
ALSO RECORDED IN MAY 1965 AND 1992.

A THUNDERSTORM DAY IS DEFINED AS THUNDER BEING HEARD AT THE OFFICIAL
OBSERVING STATING WHICH IS LOCATED AT MCCARRAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS PRELIMINARY AND SUBJECT TO A FINAL REVIEW.
