.While scattered thunderstorms are expected today, flooding is not expected on any local
rivers. However, Myakka River at Myakka River State Park is in action astage and could potentially
reach minor flood stage if heavy thunderstorms develop and will need to be closely monitored. Furthermore,
Horse Creek at Arcadia is forecasted to approach monitor stage later tonight.
