There were a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms
generally east of interstate 65 late yesterday. Rain totals were
less than a quarter of an inch except for near Columbia and south of
La Grange with just over half an inch each. Lows this morning were
mostly in the low to mid 60s. This morning was partly cloudy but
some showers developed in the east during the early afternoon.
Temperatures had warmed to the upper 70s to around 80.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with only isolated showers and
thunderstorms before midnight. After a lull in the activity through
much of the overnight period, there could be an increase in shower
coverage around sunrise Saturday. We will once again see lows in the
60s. Showers and thunderstorms are likely tomorrow afternoon and
evening with the approach of a cold front. Highs tomorrow will be in
the low 80s.
