CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS PREVAILED AROUND THE RUSHMORE STATE
DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS THE DOMINANT
WEATHER FEATURE ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS. LOW TEMPERATURES VARIED
FROM THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 50S. THE COLDEST LOCATION WAS ABERDEEN
WITH 39 DEGREES. WHILE THE WARM SPOT WAS THE SOUTH CENTRAL TOWN OF
WINNER WITH 51 DEGREES.

AT LATE MORNING...ABUNDANT SUNSHINE PREVAILED ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA AS
HIGH PRESSURE REMAINED IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION. TEMPERATURES WERE
MAINLY IN THE 60S TO LOWER 70S.

FOR THE REST OF TODAY...MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND LIGHT EAST WINDS WILL
BE COMMON THROUGHOUT THE STATE. EXPECT AFTERNOON HIGHS TO MAKE IT
INTO THE 70S TO LOWER 80S WEST RIVER...WITH MAINLY UPPER 60S AND 70S
ACROSS EASTERN SECTIONS OF SOUTH DAKOTA.
