TYPHOON MAYSAK (04W) IS CENTERED WEST OF CHUUK NEAR 8N149E WITH
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 90 MPH...MOVING WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 14
MPH. HEAVY RAIN AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS LIE WITHIN 190 MILES OF
THE EYE. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EXTEND FARTHER
OUTWARD UP TO 450 MILES FROM THE CENTER. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON

A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE CENTERED OVER THE MARSHALL ISLANDS IS
PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF
MAJURO WITHIN 160 MILES OF A LINE FROM 7N174E TO 4N180.

A SHEAR LINE STRETCHES WEST-SOUTHWESTWARD FROM 22N180 TO JUST NORTH
OF WAKE ISLAND AT 20N167E TO END EAST OF THE MARIANAS NEAR 16N150E.
CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE LOCATED ALONG AND UP TO 500 MILES
NORTH OF THE SHEAR LINE.

A COLD FRONT EXTENDS WEST-SOUTHWESTWARD FROM WEST OF IWO TO ISLAND
AT 25N140E TO BEYOND 130E AT 22N. CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE
PRESENT ALONG AND UP TO 160 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE FRONT.
