MDT/...

At 131 AM CDT/1231 AM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Carlsbad Caverns National Park, or
22 miles northeast of Pine Springs, moving south at 30 mph. Another
storm was located near Pine Springs, also moving south at 30 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
these storm.

Locations impacted include...
Pine Springs, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, McKittrick Canyon,
Carlsbad Caverns National Park and Whites City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
