AN UPPER LEVEL WAVE EXTENDS FROM THE NORTHERN ROCKIES INTO THE
CENTRAL PLAINS WITH WEAK SHORTWAVES MOVING AROUND ITS PERIPHERY.
MEANWHILE, A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE SITS AT THE SURFACE ACROSS
EASTERN COLORADO WHICH WILL BRING SOUTHERLY WINDS TO WESTERN KANSAS.
A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING THEN SPREAD SOUTHEAST
OVERNIGHT. A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE WITH HAIL UP TO THE SIZE
OF GOLFBALLS AND WINDS ABOVE 60 MPH BEING THE MAIN CONCERN.
