THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND LOW WIND CHILL READINGS...WHICH IS
IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM CST /2 PM MST/ THIS AFTERNOON TO NOON CST /11
AM MST/ TUESDAY.

* TIMING...LOOK FOR LIGHT SNOW AND MUCH COLDER AIR TO SPREAD
  SOUTHWARD OVER WESTERN KANSAS BY MID AFTERNOON TODAY WITH LIGHT
  SNOW PERSISTING THROUGH EARLY ON TUESDAY.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL BE
  POSSIBLE BY EARLY ON TUESDAY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 56. SNOW COVERED
  ROADS COULD MAKE FOR SLICK DRIVING CONDITIONS.

* OTHER IMPACTS...WIND CHILL READINGS OF 15 TO 20 BELOW ZERO WILL
  BE POSSIBLE ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 56 LATER TONIGHT INTO
  TUESDAY MORNING. LOW WIND CHILL VALUES CAN RESULT IN FROST BITE
  AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING. FURTHER, VERY COLD AIR AND SUSTAINED WINDS OF 5 MPH OR
HIGHER WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. IF YOU MUST
VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.
