...WINTER STORM WILL BEGIN TODAY AND END SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

.SNOW WILL BEGIN TODAY WITH LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW SPREADING EAST ACROSS
THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING. AMOUNTS THROUGH THIS
EVENING ARE EXPECTED TO BE 1 TO 3 INCHES. ANOTHER ROUND OF
ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL REDEVELOP OVER NORTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHWEST
ILLINOIS LATER TONIGHT, LASTING THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. AN
ADDITIONAL 2 TO 5 INCHES IS EXPECTED WITH THIS SNOW. THE HIGHEST
TOTALS ARE EXPECTED OVER NORTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS
GENERALLY NEAR HIGHWAY 20, WHERE 4 TO NEARLY 8 INCHES OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED OVER A LONG DURATION OVER 24 HOURS. FARTHER SOUTH,
THROUGH INTERSTATE 80 IN IOWA AND ILLINOIS, AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4
INCHES WILL BE COMMON THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
