/11 PM CST/ THIS EVENING...

* LOCATIONS...ALONG AND WEST OF A LEOTI TO RUSSELL SPRINGS AND
  NORTON KANSAS LINE.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 5 INCHES. SOME LOCAL
  AMOUNTS UP TO 6 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOULD SPREAD EAST INTO EXTREME NORTHWEST KANSAS
  AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA THIS MORNING AND THEN ACROSS THE REST OF
  THE AREA DURING THE AFTERNOON. SNOWFALL WILL TAPER OFF FROM
  SOUTH TO NORTH THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOWPACKED. SLICK OR ICY ROAD
  CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT. SOME BLOWING
  SNOW IS POSSIBLE DUE TO WINDS GUSTING UP TO 30 MPH REDUCING
  VISIBILITIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE EXTRA CAUTION
WHILE DRIVING.
