THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PST TUESDAY. THE
WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT WITH TEMPERATURES
  DROPPING BELOW FREEZING. SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE ENHANCED AS
  FRASER RIVER OUTFLOW BRINGS NORTH TO NORTHEAST UPSLOPE WINDS TO
  THE EASTERN STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA.

* SNOW AMOUNTS...1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WITH UP TO 4 INCHES IN THE
  FOOTHILLS OF THE OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 101.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW AND ICE ON SOME ROADWAYS AND BRIDGES MAY
  CAUSE SLIPPERY DRIVING CONDITIONS.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.  SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
