...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO
10 AM MDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 9 AM
this morning to 10 AM MDT Tuesday.

* AFFECTED AREA...The Southern Wasatch Mountains, Western Uinta
  Mountains, Wasatch Plateau, Book Cliffs, and Central Utah
  Mountains.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...9-18 inches.

* TIMING...Developing this morning and becoming heavy at times
  through tonight before dissipating tomorrow.

* WINDS...Northwest gusts up to 40 mph tonight into tomorrow
  morning.

* IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are expected to develop
  where heavier precipitation sets up today. From this evening
  into tomorrow morning, winter driving conditions will become
  more widespread. Pockets of blowing snow may develop tonight
  near exposed ridgelines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.
