FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...
NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
451 AM CST SAT FEB 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY ON THE
SOUTH SUNDAY AND MONDAY MORNINGS. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED
NORTHEAST OF THE REGION WILL DOMINATE THE WEATHER TODAY AND INTO
SUNDAY. THE SURFACE HIGH WILL SHIFT EAST AND WEAKEN OVER OUR REGION
AS A COLD FRONT DROPS INTO OUR AREA SUNDAY NIGHT AND STALLS NEAR
INTERSTATE 20. RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT
AHEAD OF THE FRONT AND THE STALLED BOUNDARY WILL SERVE TO FOCUS
CONVECTION MONDAY BEFORE LIFTING NORTH TUESDAY AS A WARM FRONT. A
WARMING TREND IS EXPECTED TODAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE A MUCH
STRONGER COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY BRINGING
WIDESPREAD RAIN AND A RETURN TO BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES THROUGH
THE END OF THE WEEK.
