FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...
NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
336 PM CST SAT FEB 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE
SOUTH SUNDAY AND MONDAY MORNINGS AS MOISTURE RETURNS TO THE REGION.
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED NORTHEAST OF THE REGION WILL DOMINATE
THE WEATHER SUNDAY. THE SURFACE HIGH WILL SHIFT EAST AND WEAKEN OVER OUR REGION
AS A COLD FRONT DROPS INTO OUR AREA SUNDAY NIGHT AND STALLS NEAR OR
JUST SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20. RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT
AHEAD OF THE FRONT AND THE STALLED BOUNDARY WILL SERVE TO FOCUS
CONVECTION MONDAY BEFORE LIFTING NORTH LATER MONDAY INTO TUESDAY AS A WARM
FRONT. A WARMING TREND IS EXPECTED INTO TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE A MUCH
STRONGER COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF
WINTRY WEATHER TO THE NORTHERN THIRD OF THE REGION BEFORE FINALLY CLEARING OUT
ON THURSDAY. WELL BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO OCCUR WITH THIS FRONT.
