NORTHERN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI.

ICE ACCUMULATION
THREAT...LIMITED
TIMING...TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY

AN AREA OF LIGHT PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT
INTO EARLY MONDAY. AS TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW FREEZING...LIGHT RAIN
IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO LIGHT FREEZING RAIN. FREEZING RAIN
WILL BEGIN LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...WITH
SOME SLEET POTENTIALLY MIXING IN AS WELL. THIS COULD RESULT IN ICING
ON AREA ROADS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

A SECOND ROUND OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN
MONDAY AFTERNOON OVER THE ARKLAMISS DELTA...SPREADING EASTWARD BY
EVENING ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. PRECIPITATION WILL
TAPER OFF TUESDAY MORNING. THIS COULD LEAD TO ADDITIONAL ICING OF
AREA ROADWAYS...PARTICULARLY BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
