...NOAA WEATHER RADIO IN MELBA BROADCAST INPUT UPGRADE...

NOAA Weather Radio All-Hazards station KIH-47, serving Southeast
and South Central Mississippi on a frequency of 162.475 MHz, is
now receiving its broadcast input from the National Weather Service
in Jackson Mississippi, via the 4G network. The transition to this
new technology was made to improve both audio quality and system
reliability. All systems are up and working well. Any future
adjustments to the equipment will be made on an as needed basis.

If you have any questions or would like additional information
regarding this new addition to the Melba NOAA Weather Radio All-
Hazards transmitter, please contact Bill Parker at 601-936-2189.
