The Flash Flood Watch for portions of east central Alabama has
been cancelled. The intensity of any remaining showers and
thunderstorms will not be enough to produce flash flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of southeast central Alabama, including Lowndes,
  Montgomery, Macon, Russell, Barbour, Bullock, and Pike.


* Until 7 PM CDT this evening

* Pockets of heavy rainfall could develop this afternoon and early
  evening across portions of southeast central Alabama. With
  already saturated ground conditions in place, any additional
  rain could result in localized flash flooding.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
