This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The wildfire danger remains elevated with the Arkansas Forestry
Commission indicating a moderate to high danger across Arkansas.
Several county burn bans are in effect. Dry weather is forecast
today and tonight, and wildfire danger will continue.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday Through Wednesday

Dry conditions will be seen on Friday, with the moderate to high
wildfire threat continuing. However, moisture levels will rebound
by Saturday with the approach of a storm system and cold front
from the northwest.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase Saturday
night along and ahead of the approaching cold front, with some
strong to severe thunderstorms possible across western and
northwest Arkansas Saturday night into Sunday morning. Damaging
winds will be the primary threats expected with the strongest
storms, with some large hail and an isolated tornado also
possible.

The cold front will move southeast and of the state on
Monday, with the chances for showers and thunderstorms
decreasing. Cooler and drier weather conditions will then return
to the state.
