THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HIGH PRESSURE WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN AND SHIFT EAST OF ARKANSAS LATER
TODAY AND TONIGHT. AS A RESULT...CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE IN
ADVANCE OF A DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM TO THE WEST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

UNSETTLED WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL RETURN TO ARKANSAS FOR THE HOLIDAY
WEEKEND. A DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM TO THE SOUTHWEST WILL MOVE SLOWLY
TOWARD THE REGION...ALLOWING MOISTURE TO BUILD NORTHWARD THROUGH THE
SOUTHERN PLAINS STATES. EVENTUALLY...THIS MOISTURE IS EXPECTED TO
WORK INTO THE STATE THIS WEEKEND. PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL GO
UP...AND RAIN COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES.

DUE TO THE RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL...IT WILL NOT TAKE MUCH WATER TO
CAUSE FLASH FLOODING. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR
SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT FOR THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF WESTERN ARKANSAS.

UNSETTLED WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF
NEXT WEEK.
