This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A heat advisory continues for the entire region through this evening
as the combination of high temperatures and humid conditions will
produce heat indices between 100 and 110 degrees. Please exercise
caution to minimize the affects of the heat and humidity and reduce
the possibility of heat related illness.

The heat advisory will be discontinued for parts of the south after
8 PM but will continue for central and northern sections through the
night.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A heat advisory will be in effect through Saturday evening for the
central and northern sections of the state due to heat index values
reaching 105 to 110 degrees.

Warm and humid weather is expected through the weekend as Arkansas
continues its typical summer pattern. Extra caution should be taken
to minimize the affects of the high heat and humidity.

Small chances of showers and thunderstorms are expected in mainly
southern Arkansas Friday and Saturday afternoons. Then, rain chances
will spread across the rest of Arkansas for the rest of the period.
The chance of hazardous weather will remain low at this time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
