...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL ST. BERNARD AND
NORTHWESTERN PLAQUEMINES PARISHES...

At 913 AM CST, a strong thunderstorm was located near Pointe A La
Hache, or 8 miles west of Port Sulphur, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.

This storm is showing weak rotation and may need to be upgraded if
it strengthens.

Locations impacted include...
Port Sulphur and Pointe A La Hache.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
