CENTRAL TERREBONNE...SOUTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON...SOUTHERN TANGIPAHOA...
NORTHWESTERN LAFOURCHE AND SOUTHEASTERN ASSUMPTION PARISHES...

At 920 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Albany to Supreme. Movement was
southeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Houma, Hammond, Thibodaux, Reserve, Laplace, Ponchatoula, Gramercy,
Lutcher, French Settlement, Albany, Springfield, Schriever,
Garyville, Supreme, Natalbany, Chackbay, Robert, Bayou Cane,
Whitehall and Killona.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for southeastern
Louisiana.
