THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THIS WEEK MAINTAINING A POTENTIAL FOR
FLOODING...

SEVERAL FRONTAL BOUNDARIES WILL INTERACT WITH A WARM AND MOIST
AIR MASS IN PLACE OVER EASTERN KENTUCKY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THIS
WILL RESULT IN WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS
TODAY AND TONIGHT...AND ANOTHER ROUND OF WIDESPREAD SHOWERS
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. DUE TO THE ALREADY SATURATED NATURE
OF THE GROUND FROM PREVIOUS RAINS...ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL COULD
LEAD TO POTENTIAL FLOODING CONCERNS ALONG CREEKS...STREAMS...AND
LARGER RIVERS. IN GENERAL...AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF
RAINFALL IS FORECAST ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH
THIS EVENING FOR A PORTION OF SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY...WHERE UP TO
AN INCH OF RAIN IS EXPECTED TO FALL. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES AND
FURTHER REFINEMENTS TO THIS FORECAST OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
