...Flooding Possible Early In The Week...

A strong and slow moving low pressure system will track east
across Kentucky on Sunday, and into Virginia on Monday. It may
bring heavy rainfall of as much as two inches to the area, with
the heaviest rain most likely to occur near the Virginia border.
Most of the rain will fall from Sunday night into Monday, with a
gradual west to east diminishment expected late Monday and Monday
night. Given the saturated ground from recent rainfall, most of
this precipitation will runoff. This would lead to a threat of
minor flooding. Those with concerns in low lying areas should look
for later forecast updates.
