MENIFEE AND SOUTHERN ELLIOTT COUNTIES...

At 842 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers containing very heavy
rainfall moving across the area. Rainfall amounts of up to an inch
and a half has already occurred in places, and up to another inch of
rainfall is expected to fall through 9:30 pm. Excessive runoff will
continue to cause flash flooding of creeks and streams, roads, and
roadside culverts.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
West Liberty, Stanton, Irvine, Sandy Hook, Frenchburg, Henry,
Jeffersonville, Clay City, Ravenna, Wellington, Campsites in the
Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest, Pilot, Zag,
Moon, Bowen, Cornwell, Kimbrell, Rothwell, Lick Branch and Pekin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
