Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
524 AM EST Fri Dec 8 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will bring dry and continued very cold
weather to eastern Kentucky today and most of Saturday. An area of
low pressure aloft will move quickly across the Great Lakes and Ohio
Valley regions late Saturday and Saturday night, bring with it light
snow showers and the possibility of very light snow accumulations for
some locations across the area. Minimum humidity values will be running
generally in the 30s by late today. The approaching weather system
will allow humidity values to recover a bit for Saturday, with minimum
values ranging from the mid to upper 30s in our eastern counties and
in the upper 40s to lower 50s in the west. Surface winds should be
light and variable today and tonight, before blowing from the southwest
and west on Saturday from 7 to 12 mph.
