Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
427 AM EST Fri Feb 17 2017

.DISCUSSION...A ridge of high pressure will bring warm and dry
weather to eastern Kentucky again today and tonight. The above
average warmth will continue through the weekend, with highs in
the 50s and 60s through Sunday. There will be a chance of rain
across the area Saturday through Sunday morning, as an area of
low pressure approaches from the southwest. Minimum humidity values
will range from the upper 20s to the upper 30s later today. With
winds expected to max out between 5 and 10 mph today, fire danger
should be minimized. A return to moist conditions over the weekend
should also keep fire danger quite low across eastern KY.
