Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
450 AM EDT Thu Jul 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms will be moving across
eastern Kentucky the next couple of days, as a cold front
approaches from the north. Showers and storms will be isolated to
scattered to begin the day, but will become numerous by this
afternoon and this evening. This trend will continue through
Friday evening. Locally rainfall and gusty winds will be possible
with any storms today and tomorrow. The rain should come to an
end Saturday afternoon. The expected precipitation will keep things
plenty wet, so fire danger should at a minimum or even zero today
and tomorrow. Winds will be generally out of the southwest today
at around 5 mph.
