FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
526 AM EDT WED APR 16 2014

...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY THIS AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...AN UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR MASS OVER THE REGION WILL
BE WARMED BY STRONG SPRING SUNSHINE EACH OF THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS...RESULTING IN RELATIVE HUMIDITY FALLING BELOW 25 PERCENT IN
MOST LOCATIONS EACH AFTERNOON. HIGH PRESSURE NEARBY WILL KEEP
WINDS FROM BEING A CONCERN. OUR NEXT SHOT AT RAIN WILL COME ON
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH.
HOWEVER...MOISTURE WILL STILL BE LIMITED. THIS WILL KEEP THE
PROBABILITY OF RAIN LOW...AND KEEP RAINFALL AMOUNTS LIGHT EVEN IF
IT DOES OCCUR.
