Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
640 AM EST Tue Dec 12 2017

...Less Than an Inch of Snow Possible Today...

.DISCUSSION...A cold front is moving through eastern Kentucky this
morning. This will bring a mix of wintry precipitation early and
snow showers later for all of eastern Kentucky. Total
precipitation amounts will be light. Look for colder air to pour
into the state as winds veer west to northwesterly at near 10-15
mph. Backing southwesterly winds of 5-10 mph will lead to drier
conditions again Wednesday afternoon with minimum RH values of
30-35 percent.
