.DISCUSSION...LOW PRESSURE TRACKING THROUGH THE SOUTHEAST
PART OF THE NATION WILL CAUSE PRECIPITATION TO OVERSPREAD
THE REGION FROM SOUTH TO NORTH TODAY. IT WILL INITIALLY BE
IN THE FORM OF RAIN AND SNOW...BUT WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW
FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST LATE TODAY AND TONIGHT...AND
THEN BEGIN TAPERING OFF FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST. THE
LAST OF THE SNOW WILL EXIT OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST PART OF THE
STATE ON SATURDAY MORNING. MOST LOCATIONS CAN EXPECT
ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR LESS...BUT A COUPLE OF INCHES
MAY FALL IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS NEAR THE VIRGINIA BORDER.
MORE RAIN AND SNOW IS IN THE FORECAST AT TIMES FROM SUNDAY
