FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
1025 AM EDT TUE APR 15 2014

.DISCUSSION...

SNOW WILL BE ENDING BETWEEN 12 AND 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON. GENERALLY BETWEEN
0.2 TO 0.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE MIDNIGHT WHICH SHOULD MOISTEN
UP THE 1 HOUR FUELS. AS THIS FRONT MOVES TO THE EAST...SOME VERY DRY AIR
WILL BE MOVING INTO THE AREA AND THE MIN RH WILL BE BELOW CRITICAL
VALUES TOMORROW AND THURSDAY. THE GOOD NEWS IS THE WINDS WILL BE LIGHT AS
HIGH PRESSURE DOMINATES THE AREA.
