FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
532 AM EDT TUE JUL 26 2016

.DISCUSSION...A STATIONARY FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL REMAIN ACROSS
KENTUCKY THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK. THIS WILL CREATE THE EPICENTER
FOR SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL EACH DAY...ESPECIALLY DURING
THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. COVERAGE WILL GENERALLY BE SCATTERED TODAY
AND WEDNESDAY...BUT WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD DURING THE DAY
THURSDAY. WITH SLOW MOVING STORM MOTIONS AND ABUNDANT MOISTURE IN
PLACE...THESE STORMS WILL HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF PRODUCING
TORRENTIAL RAINFALL...AND MAY LEAD TO SOME INSTANCES OF FLOODING.
OTHERWISE...THE HOT AND HUMID/MUGGY SUMMERTIME AIRMASS WILL ALSO
REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH MID WEEK AS WELL.
