Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
350 PM EST Sat Feb 18 2017

.DISCUSSION...An upper level disturbance will bring a continued
chance for light rain showers this evening through early on
Sunday morning. Surface and upper level high pressure will build
into the area behind this system on Sunday and bring drier weather
through Monday. Another upper level disturbance and weakening
cold front will will bring chances for showers from Tuesday
through early on Wednesday. Rainfall from what precipitation that
falls during that period is expected to average about a tenth of
an inch or less. Additional chances for showers are anticipated
during the second half of the week with the highest chances from
Friday into Friday night as a stronger low pressure system moves
into the area. This system could produce gusty winds as well.
