FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
534 AM EDT SAT JUL 25 2015

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL TODAY...WITH CLEAR
SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS EXPECTED. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO BE
ON THE RISE...TOPPING OUT IN THE UPPER 80S BY THIS
AFTERNOON/EVENING. THE COMBINATION OF THIS DRY AIRMASS AND WARM
DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN LOW RH VALUES IN THE 30 TO 40
PERCENT RANGE ACROSS THE AREA. A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL BEGIN
MOVING TOWARDS THE REGION TOMORROW FROM THE NORTH. AS IT
NEARS...EXPECT A SLOW INCREASE IN MOISTURE AND CLOUD COVER DURING
THE DAY SUNDAY. WHILE WINDS AND TEMPERATURES WILL BE SEEMINGLY
UNAFFECTED...THE INCREASE IN MOISTURE WILL TRANSLATE TO HIGHER RH
VALUES...IN THE 45 TO 55 PERCENT RANGE.
