Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky

.DISCUSSION...A ridge of high pressure will bring dry and warmer
weather to eastern Kentucky today through Thursday morning. Mostly
clear skies and light winds will also be on tap. A few showers and
storms may move across the Tennessee border and into eastern Kentucky
Thursday afternoon. Today will feature the driest conditions the next
couple of days, as humidity values are expected to fall to between
30 and 40 percent. Conditions will much more moist on Thursday, as
southerly winds bring air from the Gulf of Mexico into the region.
Minimum humidity values will only drop to between 45 and 55 percent.
