FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
524 PM EST THU FEB 26 2015

.DISCUSSION...AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING SOME SNOW
SHOWERS TO THE REGION TONIGHT THROUGH ON THURSDAY AS WELL AS A
REINFORCING SHOT OF COLDER AIR TO THE REGION. HIGH PRESSURE WILL
BRING DRY WEATHER TO START THE REGION. HOWEVER...AN EXTENDED
PERIOD OF SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL BRING AN EXTENDED PERIOD
FOR PRECIPTATION CHANCES...THE RISK OF MELTING SNOW PACK...AND A
RISK FOR FLOODING. GIVEN THE SNOW PACK/SNOW MELT AND ADDITIONAL
PRECIPITATION EXPECTED LATE IN THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK...
FIRE DANGER SHOULD REMAIN LOW FOR AT LEAST A WEEK.
