FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN KENTUCKY...UPDATED
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
608 PM EDT THU APR 17 2014

...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY EAST OF THE DANIEL BOONE NATIONAL FOREST
AGAIN ON FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

***PLEASE NOTE THERE WAS AN ERROR WITH TOMORROW/S RELATIVE HUMIDITY
FORECAST IN THE PREVIOUSLY ISSUED FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST.
THIS ISSUANCE CORRECTS THOSE ERRONEOUSLY HIGH VALUES.

A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE IS TO THE EAST OF THE AREA AND A COLD FRONT IS
APPROACHING FROM THE WEST. AS THE FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA
TOMORROW IT WILL BE FALLING APART. THE FRONT SHOULD PASS WITH LITTLE
FANFARE...THE WINDS WILL SHIFT...THE CLOUDS WILL INCREASE A LITTLE
AND THERE WILL NOT BE MUCH CHANGE IN TEMPERATURE. HIGH PRESSURE WILL
BUILD BACK IN BEHIND THE FRONT. THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL REMAIN
LOW TOMORROW AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY EAST OF THE DANIEL BOONE
NATIONAL FOREST.
