Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
524 AM EST Sat Feb 18 2017

.DISCUSSION...Cloud cover will steadily increase across eastern
Kentucky early this morning, as an area of low pressure moves
across the Tennessee and lower Ohio valley regions. Isolated rain
showers should begin to move into the area early this morning and
will become scattered in nature as the day progresses. The rain
should begin to taper off late tonight...and should be out of the
area by late Sunday morning. Minimum humidity values the next
couple of days will be well above any critical fire danger
thresholds. Winds will generally be out of the south or southwest
today at 5 to 10 mph and will shift to the west at 5 to 10 mph
on Sunday.
