FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EASTERN KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
324 AM EDT THU JUL 10 2014

.DISCUSSION...

SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE VA
AND TN BORDERS THIS AFTERNOON WHILE THE REST OF THE AREA BEGINS A
DRY PERIOD WHICH WILL STAY IN PLACE THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. THE MIN
RH THROUGH SATURDAY WILL BE IN THE 40S AND THE WINDS WILL BE
LIGHT...SO FIRE DANGER WILL BE PRETTY LOW. THE SMATTERING OF RAIN
YESTERDAY SHOULD HELP SOME OF THE FUELS...HOWEVER THERE WILL BE SOME
POCKETS WHERE THE FUELS WILL BE MUCH DRIER THAN SURROUNDING AREAS
DUE TO THE UNEVEN AND IMCOMPLETE COVERAGE OF THE RAINFALL.
