FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
548 AM EDT SUN JUL 26 2015

.DISCUSSION...WHILE HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL ACROSS
MUCH OF EASTERN KY TODAY...A WEAK COLD FRONT NORTH OF THE OHIO
RIVER WILL HAVE SOME EFFECT ON THE FIRE WEATHER. THIS BOUNDARY
WILL WORK TO INCREASE THE MOISTURE SLIGHTLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND
INTO TOMORROW. RH LEVELS SHOULD BE IN THE 45 TO 55 PERCENT RANGE
TODAY...INCREASING TO THE 50 TO 60 PERCENT RANGE BY TOMORROW. SOME
SLIGHT CHANCES OF RAIN ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR NORTHERN KY BY THIS
AFTERNOON. THEN AS THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY SHIFTS SOUTH ACROSS KY
TONIGHT AND INTO THE DAY TOMORROW...EXPECT LIGHT PRECIP CHANCES
TO SPREAD ACROSS MUCH OF EASTERN KY. DESPITE THE APPROACHING AND
PASSING BOUNDARY...WINDS WILL REMAIN LIGHT AND TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTINUE TO CLIMB INTO THE UPPER 80S BOTH TODAY AND TOMROROW.
