THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

POCKETS OF LIGHT RAIN...SNOW...OR SLEET WILL POSSIBLE EARLY THIS
MORNING.

RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO LIGHT SNOW IN PORTIONS OF
BLUEGRASS LATE TONIGHT AND THROUGH DAWN MONDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO GRADUALLY CHANGE OVER TO SNOW FROM NORTHWEST
TO SOUTHEAST DURING THE DAY MONDAY. THE SNOW...THOUGH LIGHTER...WILL
LIKELY CONTINUE IN THE FAR EASTERN AND HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS OF
KENTUCKY THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. FROM ALL THIS...LIGHT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE BLUEGRASS
REGION...AND IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN LOCATIONS ABOVE 2000 FEET ACROSS
SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY.

IN THE WAKE OF THE EARLY WEEK SNOW...SOME OF THE COLDEST AIR IN 30
OR SO YEARS...FOR NOVEMBER...WILL SURGE INTO THE AREA LATE MONDAY
THROUGH TUESDAY. WIND CHILL VALUES INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS WILL BE
POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN TUESDAY NIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY FROM
THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT AS THE NEXT WEATHER SYSTEM MOVES
INTO THE APPALACHIANS.
