THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN AND FREEZING RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE
TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING...GENERALLY EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 75
CORRIDOR...AS PRECIPITATION BEGINS TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM AN
APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SNOW IS POSSIBLE LATE SUNDAY NIGHT...MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF
I-64.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF A LIGHT RAIN...FREEZING RAIN MIX GENERALLY
NORTH OF THE HAL ROGERS PARKWAY LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING.

SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY.

THE EXTENDED FORECAST INDICATES A WARM UP AND THE POTENTIAL FOR A
PROLONGED RAINFALL EVENT FROM LATE THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK.
THIS RAIN...IN ADDITION TO MELTING OF OUR SNOW PACK...MEANS A
HEIGHTENED RISK FOR FLOODING FOR ALL OF EASTERN KENTUCKY. AS IT
STANDS NOW...FLOODING APPEARS LIKELY AS A RESULT OF THIS ALONG
PORTIONS OF THE KENTUCKY AND CUMBERLAND RIVER BASINS BY THE MIDDLE
OF NEXT WEEK. BE SURE TO STAY ABREAST OF THIS DEVELOPING SITUATION
THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED.
