SNOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE AREA TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO
THURSDAY MORNING. UP TO AN INCH IS POSSIBLE MAINLY IN AREAS SOUTH
OF THE MOUNTAIN PARKWAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

SNOW IS POSSIBLE FROM THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. AN
ADDITIONAL INCH OF ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS.

SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING AND
AGAIN SUNDAY NIGHT.

THE EXTENDED FORECAST INDICATES THE POTENTIAL FOR A WARM UP AND
A PROLONGED RAINFALL EVENT LATE IN THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT
WEEK. SHOULD THIS COME TO PASS...THE RAIN...IN ADDITION TO MELTING
SNOW PACK...WOULD INCREASE THE RISK FOR FLOODING.

OF THE AREA AND EVEN HIGHER AMOUNTS ON THE RIDGES NEAR THE
VIRGINIA BORDER.
