THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

MANY STREAMS WILL CONTINUE TO RUN HIGH DUE TO RECENT HEAVY
RAINFALL...SNOW MELT...AND ICE JAMS.

A BLAST OF ARCTIC AIR IS EXPECTED TO INVADE THE AREA LATE TONIGHT.
THIS RUSH OF COLD AIR WILL CAUSE WET ROADS AROUND THE AREA TO
FREEZE OVERNIGHT...LEADING TO HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A BLAST OF ARCTIC AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE AREA
THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. THIS RUSH OF COLD AIR WILL CAUSE
WET ROADS AROUND THE AREA TO FREEZE...LEADING TO HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE.

SOME STREAMS WILL CONTINUE TO RUN HIGH THROUGH TUESDAY DUE TO
RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL...SNOW MELT...AND ICE JAMS.

SNOW IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

THE EXTENDED FORECAST INDICATES THE POTENTIAL FOR A WARM UP AND
PROLONGED RAINFALL EVENT LATE IN THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
SHOULD THIS COME TO PASS...THE RAIN ON TOP OF MELTING SNOW WOULD
INCREASE THE RISK FOR FLOODING.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED.
