...RECORD DAILY AND MONTHLY MINIMUM HIGH TEMPERATURE SET AT JACKSON
KY...

THE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 29 DEGREES TODAY AT THE JACKSON WEATHER
OFFICE. THIS SET A NEW DAILY AS WELL AS A NEW MONTHLY MINIMUM HIGH
TEMPERATURE RECORD. THE OLD DAILY RECORD WAS 32 DEGREES SET BACK IN
1996. THE OLD MONTHLY RECORD OF 30 DEGREES WAS LAST SET ON NOVEMBER
24TH OF 2013. THIS NEW MONTHLY MINIMUM HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORD WILL
LIKELY BE ECLIPSED NEXT WEEK AS AN EVEN COLDER AIR MASS SETS IN
ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY.

CLIMATE RECORDS BEGAN AT THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE IN 1981.
