...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE AND HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE SET AT
JACKSON KY...

A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 72 DEGREES WAS SET TODAY AT THE JACKSON
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 71
DEGREES SET IN 1990.

IN ADDITION...THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 56 DEGREE ESTABLISHES A NEW
RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR THE DATE AS WELL. THE PREVIOUS
RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS 53 DEGREES SET IN 1990.

CLIMATE RECORDS FOR THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE DATE BACK TO 1981.
