...LIGHT SNOW TO AFFECT MOST OF SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY TONIGHT...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK SOUTH OF THE REGION TONIGHT AND
THURSDAY. MOISTURE WRAPPING AROUND THIS SYSTEM WILL LIKELY BRING
ACCUMULATING SNOW TO SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE AREA FROM TONIGHT INTO
THURSDAY. GENERALLY AROUND AN INCH OF ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE
ALONG AND NORTH OF THE HAL ROGERS PARKWAY WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS
FOUND ALONG AND JUST NORTH OF THE MOUNTAIN PARKWAY.

THIS SNOWFALL WILL BRING POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL AND LONGER
TRAVEL TIMES FOR THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE. THOSE PLANNING TO
TRAVEL TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING SHOULD SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW
EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION. BE SURE TO MONITOR THE
LATEST FORECASTS FOR FUTURE UPDATES ON THIS WINTER EVENT.

VISIT OUR INTERNET WEBSITE AT WWW.WEATHER.GOV/JKL OR LISTEN TO
NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA FOR THE LATEST UPDATES ON
THIS UPCOMING WINTER WEATHER SITUATION.
