...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN MORGAN...EAST CENTRAL
MENIFEE...SOUTHEASTERN ROWAN AND ELLIOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM
EDT...

At 143 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Kellacey, or 7
miles northwest of West Liberty, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Winds gusts of 30 to 40 mph and nickel size hail are possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
West Liberty, Sandy Hook, Henry, Lenox, Zag, Wagner, Blairs Mills,
Mize, Fannin Valley, Elliottville, Lick Branch, Little Sandy, Pekin,
Liberty Road, Omer, Dehart, Wrigley, Lytten, Hamm and Ezel.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

If you are on or near Cave Run Lake, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
